Terms of Service
Last updated 17 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and SplatCast, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we"), for the SplatCast app and splatcast.com. By using them you agree to these terms. Contact: will@splatcast.com.
The app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SplatCast on devices you own or control. If you got SplatCast from the Mac App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where it conflicts with these terms for App Store copies, Apple's terms govern.
Plans and subscriptions
- Free lets you train and view scenes without limit. Scenes are shown with a watermark and cannot be exported.
- Pro and Studio are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly, as described on the plans page at the time you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled. App Store subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your Apple Account settings; subscriptions bought on splatcast.com are managed and cancelled from your account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you before a change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
Your content
You own the photos you import and the scenes you train. You are responsible for having the rights to them, including for people, artworks and buildings they show. We claim no rights in your content and do not receive it.
Commercial use
Pro allows commercial use of scenes you create by you as an individual. Studio allows use by companies and their teams. Free is for personal, non-commercial use.
Sample scenes
The sample scenes included with or downloaded by SplatCast are provided under their own licences (for example CC BY 4.0 or MIT), listed on the credits page and in each scene's details. Those licences, not these terms, govern your use of the samples.
Acceptable use
Don't use SplatCast to break the law, infringe others' rights, or reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app itself except as the law allows.
Disclaimers and limits
SplatCast is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Training results depend on your photos and device. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Ending
You can stop using SplatCast at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law gives you rights that cannot be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post changes here and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they apply.
