Common questions

What photos work best? Lots of overlapping photos taken all the way around the subject or through the space, in even light, with the subject still. Fifty to a few hundred photos is typical.

Which Macs are supported? Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14 or later. More memory allows bigger scenes.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription? App Store: System Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → Subscriptions. splatcast.com: your account page.

How do I restore a purchase? In SplatCast, open Settings and choose Restore purchases.

Which files can I export? Pro and Studio export PLY, SOG and SPZ. Every plan can open all three.

Does SplatCast upload my photos? No. Training and viewing happen on your device. See the privacy policy.
